Finca La Rosala has been known for its excellent roasted nuts since the beginning of the 19th century. It all started with the Panchitos, as the owner of Angelito called his roasted jumbo peanuts, which were popular throughout the region. The old man was a master of his craft and Pedro Ciudad Imedio's neighbor.

Pedro Ciudad Imedio is the founder of Finca La Rosala, driven by a passion for "Panchitos." This was the name given to jumbo peanuts in his region. Originally, his neighbor, a long-established craftsman and owner of "Angelito," a small manufactory where nuts had been roasted in wood-fired ovens since the beginning of the 19th century, was a master of this craft. And because they were good neighbors and the man could not continue his profession much longer, Pedro taught him everything he knew about nuts, their quality, and roasting, including all the secrets. After the old man passed away, Pedro continued the business as Finca La Rosala and now taught his sons how to roast and season almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews, and peanuts with innovative flavors.
