Le Jacquard Francais Tea Towel – Paris Panorama

The Le Jacquard Francais tea towel Paris Panorama baiser is a red-pink-orange tea towel made of 100% cotton. Woven in France using the jacquard method, it has a stately size of 60x80cm and a woven label for easy hanging in your kitchen.

This French tea towel brings the sights of Paris, from the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre, into your kitchen. Paris, the capital of France, is known as the city of love. But not just because lovers like to travel to the city on the Seine, but also because around 19 million tourists each year simply must fall in love with Paris. The highlight of a sightseeing tour through one of the most visited cities in the world is certainly the 324-meter-high Eiffel Tower, built in 1889 for the World Exhibition, which makes the city shine especially at night. A stroll will take you along the 71m wide and almost two kilometer long Champs-Élysées, the prestige boulevard with restaurants and design boutiques. Not far from the hustle and bustle, the next sight awaits you: the world's largest triumphal arch, which Napoleon Bonaparte had built in 1800: the Arc de Triomphe. Now you drive up to the summit of the Butte Montmartre and marvel at the white Basilica Sacré-Coeur, which houses the largest bell in France. From its steps you have a great view of this unique city and immediately discover your next destination on the Ile de la Cité, the Gothic cathedral Notre-Dame, which is currently being restored. On the way there, you are drawn along countless small streets, you stroll along the opera, the Opéra Garnier, and the old stock exchange. Once you have crossed the Pont Neuf, it is not far to Notre Dame. From the Ferris wheel on the Place de la Concorde you have a breathtaking panoramic view of all the sights of Paris.

The Le Jacquard Francais tea towel Paris Panorama Baiser, which means kiss, can be wonderfully washed up to 60 degrees, so it is really suitable for everyday use and a great help to you. To preserve the quality, you should rather avoid using fabric softener and drying in the dryer, because they are made of combed cotton yarn, which makes them particularly soft and supple. The great kitchen towel with a hanger can also be used as a small tablecloth.

Weaving à la francaise – Tradition since 1861

The history of Le Jacquard Francais goes back to 1861, when Benjamin Baer opened a textile trade in Gérardmer in the French Vosges. In 1928, the successors, the Nathan Lévy weaving mill, expanded the trade to include a bleaching plant, as white linen was in high demand at the time. In 1968, the company was acquired by the ELIS Group, which purchased more than 50 looms for weaving jacquard fabrics and launched the Le Jacquard Francais brand. As the quintessence of creative and technical know-how, the tea towels are woven with the greatest care in the textile factory in the Vosges and then sewn there. The products, like this Panorama Paris tea towel, are of excellent quality and are woven from 100% cotton. The combed long fibers result in a soft, very smooth and resistant fabric. The fineness of the silky soft yarns gives the designs incomparable brilliance and precision.
