This Pinot Gris is the result of careful harvesting and masterful winemaking. At Kellerei Kurtatsch, particular importance is placed on environmentally friendly wine production, which preserves the authentic taste of the terroir. The Pinot Gris vines for this Pinot Grigio from the Selection line stand on clay, sand, and gravel soils, rich in dolomite, in mountain locations between 250-400 m above sea level. The grapes from small-parcel vineyards are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and quickly brought in small crates to the newly built, impressive winery in Kurtatsch. There, according to the specifications of cellar master Erwin Carli, they were destemmed and gently pressed. After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, the subsequent aging took place on the fine lees.
