The Le Jacquard Francais Elysee Patrie apron is a striped apron made of 100% cotton in the national colors of France: blue, white, and red. Woven using the Jacquard method, it is a generous 80x96cm in size, making it a universal fit.

Inspired by the Élysée Palace and the French way of life, the Elysee collection is reminiscent of gingham, a checkered tablecloth with a Vichy pattern. This was the traditional table setting in the *guinguettes*, the popular taverns and open-air cafés that served traditional cuisine along the great rivers of France during the summer months.

With the first line of the French national anthem prominently displayed in blue lettering on the front of this red and white striped Elysee series apron, you will feel like "Le Chef," stylishly competing with the greatest French starred chefs. With its straight cut and adjustable blue cotton straps, this apron is suitable for all body types.

To match the Patrie apron, there are two tea towels and one kitchen towel available.

The Le Jacquard apron can be wonderfully washed at up to 60 degrees, making it truly suitable for everyday use and a great help to you. To maintain its quality, it is best to avoid fabric softener and tumble drying, as they are made from combed cotton yarn, which makes them particularly soft and supple.

Weaving art à la française – Tradition since 1861

The history of the company Le Jacquard Francais dates back to 1861, when Benjamin Baer opened a fabric store in Gérardmer in the French Vosges mountains. In 1928, his successors, the Nathan Lévy weaving mill, expanded the business to include a bleachery, as white linens were in extremely high demand at the time. In 1968, the company was acquired by the ELIS Group, which purchased more than 50 looms for weaving Jacquard fabrics and created the Le Jacquard Francais brand. As the quintessence of creative and technical know-how, the tea towels are woven with the utmost care in the textile factory in the Vosges and subsequently sewn there. The products are of excellent quality and are woven from 100% cotton. The long, combed fibers result in a supple, very smooth, and durable fabric. The fineness of the silk-soft yarns gives the designs incomparable brilliance and precision.
