Cuneesi Cremino Latte are the gentlest of all the large pralines from Piedmont: a filling of white chocolate and fine hazelnut cream, coated in mild milk chocolate. In Piedmont, "Cremino" is the term for a particularly creamy chocolate that thrives on the hazelnut, while "Latte" refers to the milk. If you enjoy soft hazelnut chocolate, the Cremino Latte is the perfect choice, as it simply melts on the tongue.

There is no crunch here: the Cuneesi Cremino Latte is soft, creamy, and full of hazelnut from the very first second. It is the uncomplicated answer to the question of a praline to accompany your coffee.

The heart of Langhe hazelnuts

The heart of the Cremino Latte is the hazelnut, specifically the Tonda Gentile Trilobata of the Langhe, which is native to Piedmont.

Cremino is a classic in Piedmont, a particularly soft chocolate centered around the hazelnut. Mandrile Melis selects the fine nuts themselves and roasts them in-house before turning them into a silky cream, fully in keeping with the tradition cherished there for generations.

From the cioccolateria in Fossano

Giuseppe Mandrile and Maria Antonietta Melis have been running their chocolate house since 1986 in Fossano, a small town in the province of Cuneo.

What began with the famous rum-infused Cuneesi has grown over the past 40 years into a manufactory with more than 40 varieties. The large praline itself has been a part of Cuneo for about 100 years—the city at the foot of the Piedmontese Alps that gave the Cuneesi their name. The company sources milk and eggs from nearby farms, just as Giuseppe Mandrile and Maria Antonietta Melis have done from the very beginning.

Cuneo lies where the flat plains give way to the mountains, and the cioccolateria in Fossano is just a stone's throw away. This proximity to the hazelnut groves of the Langhe can be tasted in every Cremino Latte.
