The manufacturer refers to their series as "Le praline," and the three varieties included evoke the end of a long evening in an Italian trattoria. Each contains a splash of alcohol, whether as lemon liqueur, Marsala, or vanilla-infused spirits.

Fresh lemon, warm Marsala, sweet berries

Limoncello adds freshness to the bag with a light, creamy filling made of Limoncello and lemon oil, encased in dark, milk, and white chocolate. The lemon peel in the liqueur and the oil balance the sweetness of the chocolate, giving this praline a light feel despite its generous chocolate coating.

All three varieties hail from Italy's dessert repertoire, and each brings its own classic to life in praline form: lemon liqueur, egg-based custard cream, and wild berries.

Limoncello is traditionally made from lemon peels, alcohol, and sugar. In this praline, the lemon peel comes from the Sfusato Amalfitano variety, named after the Amalfi Coast and prized for its intense aroma. In Italy, Limoncello is drunk ice-cold after a meal, and this praline brings that moment to your coffee table.

Zabaione is whipped from egg yolks, sugar, and Marsala; the filling is further enhanced by Cremovo, a Marsala made with egg yolk, and a splash of white wine. Marsala is a fortified wine from western Sicily, whose sweetness and spice provide the base for the cream. Frutti di bosco is German for "wild berries," which is exactly what you taste in the pink-wrapped praline.
