Sweetheart Sauvignon Blanc – Sweet Wine by Oliver Zeter

The Oliver Zeter Sweetheart 2025 is a sweet wine made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The wine is fruity, exotic, and piquant with a refined interplay of acidity and sweetness. Chilled, the Zeter Sweetheart makes an exciting aperitif and a suitable companion to fruity desserts.

Zeter – Winemaking

A total of eight vineyards in the Southern Palatinate and along the Mittelhardt are planted with seven different Sauvignon Blanc clones. The decisive advantage here is the different microclimates of the various sites, which positively impacts the diversification of aromas. The soils on which the vines grow are as varied as the sites themselves.

The vines are mostly trained as cordons, which leads to a more linear and thus easier-to-manage grape zone. The vineyards are permanently greened, partly with natural herbs and partly with grass seeding. "Sweetheart" is a cheeky sweet wine made from late-harvested, very ripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which were spontaneously fermented before the must was exposed "open air" to the winter cold in January.
