The blue lies somewhere between glacial ice and a clear January sky—bright enough to pass for white and cold enough to stand out next to red.

This makes this little man stand out from the usual Christmas color scheme. On a table decorated in white and silver, it is the only color value that looks like frost on a window rather than fir or candlelight.

The foil has a metallic shimmer and catches the light at every edge of the embossing, making the figure look almost like glass when viewed from the side. Precisely because the color is so cool, the mouth, eyes, and buttons stand out clearly. In the January light by a window, the shade appears almost transparent, while under a lamp it shifts into a silvery tone.

The milk chocolate underneath contains cocoa butter before cocoa mass, which is why it tastes mild and melts quickly. An arm is gone before the paper has even hit the table. Stored in a cool, dark place, the little man will last through the weeks between purchase and gift-giving without damage.
