Pink Chocolate Man by Fesey Chocolate Figures to give away

The pink chocolate man by Fesey Chocolate Figures is wrapped in vibrant magenta foil, concealing a gingerbread man made of milk chocolate. Weighing only 20 grams and featuring a flat relief, it has dot eyes, a wide mouth, and a row of buttons that press through the foil.

Pink Chocolate Man is one of the small relief figures by Fesey Chocolate Figures, cast in Riemerling in Upper Bavaria and hand-wrapped. The pink is a rich magenta with no pastel tones, exactly the shade that children will pull out of a basket full of sweets first.

This gives the color a clear mission. It doesn't need to argue with pine green or candle red; it simply stands alongside them and spreads good cheer, which, at the end of the last school week before the holidays, is worth more than any subtle color coordination.

Magenta that stands out immediately in a candy basket

The foil has a strong sheen, yet the relief still shows through because the light shifts into violet within the indentations. This makes the laughing mouth the most distinct line on the entire figure, followed by the three buttons on the chest and the short, thick arms. By candlelight, the magenta loses some of its intensity and leans toward a raspberry hue.

On a dark wooden table, the little man shines like a signal; on white paper, it looks almost garish. Anyone who puts several of them in a bowl needs no other decoration. The little man likes to make an entrance; being inconspicuous is simply not in its nature.

A greeting for the whole class

Before the Christmas holidays, everyone wants a gift, and in those cases, the quantity counts for more than the size. A flat figure at each desk is quickly placed, won't slide around in a pencil case, and survives the trip to school in a backpack. A single figure is also quickly eaten, which, for a whole class, is an argument for the size rather than against it.

In kindergarten, it goes into the Advent bag; at a winter birthday, it lies next to the cake plate; and in the neighborhood, it serves as a little thank-you to the kids next door. It is flat enough for an Advent calendar door without causing the cardboard to bulge.

Flat relief instead of a hollow figure

Unlike the company’s large chocolate figures, the little man is not molded in the round but cast as a flat relief. This means it has a consistent thickness and is less likely to break on the way in a bag. The back remains smooth so the figure lies flat on a plate.

The two-part mold creates sharp edges for the mouth, eyes, and buttons; the rest is done by the paper, which is applied to each chocolate figure individually by hand. Because no machine counts them, the foil sits a little differently on every piece, which is why they are called unique items at the company.

Under the paper lies a mild milk chocolate where cocoa butter sets the tone, keeping the melt suitably soft. One leg disappears first, then the rest follows, and there is not much chewing required anyway. The flavor remains milky and calmly sweet until the very end.

The ice-blue man has a cooler feel; the entire assortment can be found in the Fesey Chocolate Figures, and chocolate bars are located one shelf over in the chocolate department.

Fesey
