On the one hand, it is one of the most popular meeting places for big stars, and on the other hand, gourmets highly appreciate its simple but high-quality cuisine. Pasta lovers will be familiar with the fine, diverse varieties from the owner Arrigo Cipriani, as his pasta is considered among the best in the world. Just like the pasta, Cipriani classics such as the Bellini Base, red wine vinegar, Carnaroli rice, biscotti, sugo, and pestos, and the fine olive oil all originated at Harry's Bar. The olives grow overlooking the sea, and on clear days, they can spot the small island of Capraia, located off the coast of Corsica in the Mediterranean. This extra virgin olive oil comes from a small olive oil mill in Maremma, where the olives are hand-picked with great artisanal skill and pressed on the same day in their own mill using purely mechanical methods. This produces an extra virgin olive oil of exceptional quality.
