Questions about Organic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI – 3 Gold Medals?

We are happy to help you with Giuseppe Giusti Modena.

Bio

The Il Denso, now also organic

The organic 3 Medaglie d'Oro balsamic vinegar from Giuseppe Giusti is the popular Il Denso made from organically grown grapes. A dense, sweet Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP with notes of plum, honey, and vanilla, now in organic quality from Italy's oldest acetaia.

Organic Balsamic Vinegar 3 Medaglie d'Oro is the organic edition of the Il Denso, a dense and sweet Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP by Giuseppe Giusti from Modena. Produced from late-harvested organic grapes that were allowed to dry in the sun, it reveals notes of stewed plum, red fruits, and a hint of honey and vanilla. Finally.

It is a true statement for such a traditional house to now offer its most requested vinegar as an organic balsamic. The grapes come from organic farming, and the taste remains the familiar, dense profile of the Il Denso. With a density of 1.32, it pours like syrup from the spoon and stays on the food. If you want organic in your pantry without sacrificing depth, this is the one for you.

Stewed plum, honey, a hint of vanilla

The organic balsamic smells of plum compote and red fruits; on the spoon, it is followed by a deep sweetness with a warm acidity and a long, woody-spiced finish.

Velvety, dense, and syrupy, it coats food and shines darkly. The sweetness never tips into being cloying because the acidity balances it, just like with the conventional 3 Medaglie d'Oro Il Denso. For those who value organic, you get the same profile here made from organic grapes.

Drizzle over Parmesan and strawberries

The organic balsamic loves the big appearance at the end—drizzled over salads, fresh or stuffed pasta, grilled meat, soft cheese, fruit salad, and dessert.

Drizzled over a chunk of aged Parmesan, its sweetness catches the saltiness. Over ripe strawberries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it becomes a quick dessert, and on a risotto, it adds the finishing shine. With a thread of good olive oil alongside it, you have half of Italian cuisine.

The important thing is that it is used raw and only added to the dish at the end, as its delicate aromas do not like prolonged heat. This keeps the thick organic balsamic aromatic to the very last drop. For a reasonably priced everyday vinegar, the Bordolese for every day is available alongside it when you don't need the dense drop.

Organic grapes from the oldest acetaia

The organic balsamic matures in French oak barrels, filled according to the Solera principle from the house's own batteries; only cooked organic grape must and aged wine vinegar go into it.

The Acetaia Giuseppe Giusti dates back to the 16th century and has been passing down its knowledge for over 400 years. As early as 1863, the vinegar merchant from Modena noted the golden basic ingredients: good grapes, good barrels, and time, according to Giuseppe Giusti. In 1929, the house was appointed supplier to the Royal House of Savoy.

With the organic Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP, Giusti is responding to the growing demand for organic products of top quality without cutting corners on taste. The fact that this house classic is now available in organic quality delights all those who shop consciously yet do not want to go without top-tier vinegar. It comes to you in a 250 ml bottle; you can find more vinegars in our balsamic selection. Organic and tradition—they go perfectly together.
