The Le Jacquard Français Josephine gray tea towel is a French tea towel made from 100% cotton. Woven using the Jacquard method, it boasts a substantial size of 60x80cm and a woven label for easy hanging in your kitchen.

The beautiful yet elegant motif, with 100% French charm, depicts swans, rabbits, and swallows in silver-gray colors, appearing in romantic medallions. A reinterpreted homage to French Toile de Jouy fabrics. The same motif is also available in the orange-red "Forget-Me-Not" and green "Herbs" color combinations.

The Le Jacquard Français Josephine tea towel can be washed wonderfully up to 60 degrees, making it truly suitable for everyday use and a helpful aid. To preserve its quality, you should avoid using fabric softener and tumble drying, as these towels are made from combed cotton yarn, which makes them particularly soft and supple. The history of Le Jacquard Français company dates back to 1861, when Benjamin Baer opened a fabric trade in Gérardmer in the French Vosges region. In 1928, his successors, the Nathan Lévy weaving mill, expanded the trade to include a bleaching facility, as white linen was in high demand at the time. In 1968, the company was acquired by the ELIS group, which purchased more than 50 looms for weaving Jacquard fabrics and created the Le Jacquard français brand. As the quintessence of creative and technical know-how, the tea towels are woven with the utmost care in the textile factory in the Vosges and then sewn there. The products are of excellent quality and are woven from 100% cotton. The combed long fibers result in a supple, very smooth, and durable fabric. The fineness of the silky-soft yarns gives the designs unparalleled brilliance and precision.
