Pfunds Caramel Cream is a wonderful spread from the Dresden dairy Gebrüder Pfunds. This unique milk jam comes from what was once dubbed by Feinschmecker magazine as the most beautiful dairy shop in the world. It is exclusively produced in France for Gebrüder Pfunds from fresh whole milk. For a long time, it was only available in Pfunds Dairy's own shop in Dresden.

The Confiture de Lait is wonderfully creamy and seduces with its intense caramel flavor, which it owes to the production process where milk enriched with sugar is slowly reduced at 65 degrees over many hours. Pfunds Caramel Cream is delicious on fresh white bread, dark country bread, crispy croissants, on crepes or waffles, with yogurt or ice cream, or simply eaten neat with a spoon.

Pfunds Caramel Cream – Taste with Tradition

On September 9, 1880, the history of the Gebrüder Pfund dairy began, which is celebrating its 140th anniversary extensively this year. Paul Pfund was the first generation of the traditional Dresden company that supplied the city on the Elbe with milk. Later, Pfund was the first company in Germany to produce condensed milk, gaining international recognition. The Pfunds dairy shop was opened at the end of the 19th century on the initiative of Privy Councillor Paul Gustav Leander Pfund (1849-1923) and was the icing on the cake of a clever, far-sighted business strategy. Today, countless tourists from all over the world flock daily to the dairy shop, which is tiled with beautifully painted tiles.
