Linden blossom tea by Plukt is a golden organic herbal infusion from Latvia, made from hand-picked leaves and blossoms of the Tilia vulgaris linden tree. The linden tree blooms only once a year for about seven days, and this infusion captures that very honey-sweet scent. Inside the box are 20g of loose leaves and blossoms gathered from Nordic wild meadows.

Linden blossom tea has a honey-sweet and floral aroma; as soon as you pour the hot water, a hint of summer meadows wafts through the kitchen—fragrant, floral, and lovely. The cup glows a warm, clear golden color.

On the palate, it remains mild and gently sweet, with that floral finish characteristic of the linden tree. Anyone who has ever stood under a blooming linden tree in June will recognize this scent, and it is exactly what this infusion brings to your cup. Seven days of linden blossoms per year

The linden tree blooms only once a year, and only for about seven days. Its honey-like scent has always been legendary, and this brief window determines exactly when the harvest happens. During this short period, the leaves and flowers are hand-picked from organic wild meadows in Latvia before the blooming season ends. If you miss it, you have to wait an entire year.

They are then gently dried using wind and solar energy, which preserves their color and delicate aroma. The linden tea is packaged in a cardboard box. PLŪKT means "picked" in Latvian, and nothing describes this patient handiwork better. A thing that is kind to both nature and people, we think.

Māra and the treasures of Latvian meadows

Behind Plukt is Māra Lieplapa, who collects the wild plants of her homeland and brings them into your cup, as she always emphasizes. In her tea house in Saulessēta, a small village in the Prauliena municipality, she holds masterclasses and tea ceremonies. Leaves and blossoms release their aroma slowly

Rinse your cup with hot water, add 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of loose leaves and blossoms, and pour boiling water over them. Cover the infusion and let it steep for 5 to 7 minutes, allowing the leaves and flowers to release their aroma in peace. Sweeten only after it has cooled slightly to preserve the honey-sweet fragrance. On warm evenings, it also tastes great cold: add to 500 ml of cold water and let steep for a few hours.
