Questions about Orange Juice – 1L?

We are happy to help you with Alain Milliat.

Fruity orange juice from Spanish oranges

Alain Milliat's orange juice is a French fruit juice made from 100% fully ripened Spanish oranges. Sweet and fruity, with a lively interplay of sweetness and acidity and a delicate bitterness. The breakfast classic, crafted like a fine wine, in a large bottle.

Orange juice of this quality reminds you how delicious this classic can taste: Alain Milliat's orange juice is pressed from fully ripened Spanish oranges that retain all their sunshine in the glass. With 100% fruit content, it is sweet, fruity, and full of life—a far cry from pale juice made from concentrate.

Sweet, fruity, with a delicate bitterness

As you pour it, the glass is already filled with the intense aroma of freshly squeezed, ripe oranges.

The bright orange juice has a succulent texture and a lively interplay of sweetness and acidity, supported by a refined, elegant bitterness. It feels fruity, sunny, and juicy on the tongue, with all the freshness of a ripe orange. You taste the fruit here, not the concentrate.

That is what makes this orange juice so special: structure and depth are added to the sweetness. The slight bitterness of the peel provides body, the acidity keeps it fresh, and the sweetness makes it rounded. A juice that wakes you up in the morning and lets the day begin pleasantly.

A good glass of orange juice in the morning is a small ritual: fruity, fresh, and lively, it awakens the senses long before the coffee does. Once you have tried real direct juice, you will hardly want to go back to the pale concentrate from a carton; there really are worlds between them.

Breakfast classic and apéro with Prosecco

Orange juice is arguably the most familiar of all juices, yet here it is a small celebration.

Served chilled and pure, it belongs at breakfast just like a croissant; topped with Prosecco, it becomes a classic Mimosa for festive occasions. It is also a delight in the kitchen, for example in a vinaigrette or as a fruity note for poultry. A splash in a smoothie or over a fruit salad instantly lifts the mood.

A thin-walled glass and a temperature of 8 to 12 degrees Celsius are what the Spanish orange needs for its aroma to unfold most beautifully. If you prefer something smaller and more delicate, take a look at the mandarin juice, or for something velvety, explore the nectars.

Fully ripened oranges from Spain

The oranges for this juice grow in Spain, where the warm, sunny climate gives them their full sweetness and aroma.

They are only harvested once they are fully ripe, because as Alain emphasizes, the flavor develops on the tree. Only a ripe orange possesses the balance of sweetness, acidity, and delicate bitterness that defines this juice. It is pressed and bottled in the Rhône Valley south of Lyon, just as every juice from the house has been since 1997.

Alain Milliat, himself a fruit grower from Orliénas, took over the family farm in 1983 and launched his project in 1997 to elevate juices to the level of fine wines. His creations quickly convinced the sommeliers of gourmet restaurants.
