Gernot Heinrich – red 2015 in Magnum Bottle
The Gernot Heinrich red Magnum 2015 is an organic red wine cuvée made from Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and St. Laurent in a 1.5-liter magnum bottle. The vines for this wine grow around Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, Austria, on various soils such as limestone and slate, sandy loam, and humus-rich heathland.
Not only the label, but also the red wine cuvée presents itself in a rich ruby red as a delightful entry ticket to Gernot Heinrich's wine world, which simply convinces. Lots of red berry fruit paired with peppery notes and sweet tobacco aromas meet invigorating acidity, subtle tannins, and moderate alcohol. The seriousness combined with the focus on the essentials make the red from Weingut Heinrich a connoisseur's tip. Country wine with quality standards, drinking pleasure with class.
