Königskind black walnuts are the specialty of the small gourmet manufactory from the Oberberg region – made from unripe, green-harvested walnuts, pickled in a spicy cinnamon-orange syrup and aged in the jar for several months. An almost forgotten, tart and aromatic delicacy for cheese platters, game, pâtés, and desserts. Handmade by Uwe and Sabine König, available in two jar sizes – generous for gourmet cooking, small for gifting and tasting.
