The exquisite creaminess of the Piekfeine Egg Liqueur comes from its high proportion of organic egg yolks from the region. The Piekfeine Egg Liqueur contains no cream and is therefore lactose-free, free of milk protein, lactose or milk sugar, and gluten-free. It is produced without the addition of flavorings, colorings, or emulsifiers.

The small orange specks originating from the fresh eggs, which you can see in the bottle, are a sign of quality, as they prove that Birgitta Schulze von Loon has avoided colorants. If a viscous mass settles at the bottom of the bottle, this is also a sign of quality, as it explains the avoidance of additives such as stabilizers and emulsifiers. This can be remedied by vigorously shaking.
