Purissima Maxima Mountain Coffee – 70% Chocolate without Added Sugar
The Tiroler Edle Purissima Maxima Mountain Coffee is a chocolate without added sugar, which naturally contains sugar. Made only with natural milk sugar from the rich milk of the Grey Cattle and top-quality chocolate raw mass and organic coffee from the Ethiopian rainforest, this cocoa bar is handcrafted in Austria by Hansi Haag. Nevertheless, it is well-balanced and not too bitter, with a warm coffee aroma. We can hardly believe that this cocoa bar consists of only 70% cocoa and 29.5% milk, as well as 0.5% coffee.
Confectioner Hansjörg Haag uses the finest couverture from Domori for his handmade chocolates, which guarantees him the origin of the cocoa beans and payment to the cocoa farmers above the FairTrade price. Naturally, the coffee is also fair trade.
Purissima Maxima – Chocolate Idea from Tiroler Edle
Innovative products are sometimes difficult to categorize in traditional classifications, like the popular Purissima Maxima without added sugar. Since no sugar is added, it cannot be called chocolate. The sugar in Purissima Maxima comes only from milk, which naturally contains sugar. Tiroler Edle now uses the term "Kakaotafel mit Milch „ohne Zuckerzusatz“" (cocoa bar with milk "without added sugar") approved by AGES.
Tiroler Edle – Chocolate with Milk from the Grey Cattle
Far from grey, the uniquely good chocolate made from the milk of the Tyrolean Grey Cattle is by no means a grey mouse when it comes to creations and packaging. Hansjörg and Christoph Haag are always coming up with new creations for the delicious fillings: like the one with caramel and salt crystals. Therese Fiegl has given the Tiroler Edle equally creative packaging. Brown at the bottom means it's a milk chocolate, grey at the bottom means it's a fine dark chocolate in the pretty paper sleeves. At the top, the bright color reveals which filling is hidden inside the chocolate. So the apricot is orange at the top, the raspberry red, and the nougat blue. To protect quality and taste, the small bar is wrapped in film, which is environmentally friendly, made from cellulose, and therefore plastic-free. We greatly appreciate that.
