Purissima Maxima Mountain Mint – 70% Chocolate with no Added Sugar

The Tiroler Edle Purissima Maxima Mountain Mint is a chocolate with no added sugar, which naturally contains sugar. Made only with natural milk sugar from the rich milk of Grey Cattle, chocolate mass of the best quality, and dried mountain mint from the Kaunergrat nature reserve, this cocoa bar is handcrafted in Austria by Hansi Haag. Despite this, it is balanced and not too bitter and has a fresh mint aroma. We simply can hardly believe that this cocoa bar consists of only 70% cocoa, 28% milk, and 2% mountain mint.

Purissima Maxima – A Chocolatey Idea from Tiroler Edle

Innovative products are sometimes difficult to categorize in traditional classifications, like the popular Purissima Maxima without added sugar. Since no sugar is added to it, it cannot be called chocolate. The sugar contained in Purissima Maxima comes only from the milk, which naturally contains sugar. Tiroler Edle now uses the designation "cocoa bar with milk 'without added sugar'" approved by AGES.

Far from being dull, the uniquely good chocolate made from the milk of Tyrolean Grey Cattle is by no means a gray mouse when it comes to creations and packaging. Hansjörg and Christoph Haag are always coming up with new creations for the delicious fillings: such as those with caramel and salt crystals. Therese Fiegl has given the Tiroler Edle equally creative packaging. Brown at the bottom means it's a milk chocolate, grey at the bottom means an exquisite dark chocolate is hidden in the pretty paper wrappers. The bright color at the top reveals which filling is hidden in the chocolate. For example, the apricot is orange at the top, the raspberry red, the nougat blue. To protect quality and taste, the small bar is wrapped in foil, which is environmentally friendly and made from cellulose, making it plastic-free. We very much welcome this.
