Moutarde Piment d'Espelette from Rue Traversette is a French mustard – not from Dijon, but from Languedoc. What's special about this mustard, which is traditionally made from vinegar and mustard seeds and seasoned with honey and salt, is the Basque ingredient: Piment d'Espelette. A fruity, slightly smoky and rather mild chili variety that not only gives Moutarde Piment d'Espelette its beautiful red color but also its wonderful taste.
