The Caramellotto by D.Barbero are fine nougat pralines made from the best hazelnuts from Piedmont, finely ground, mixed with white chocolate and salted caramel. Handcrafted and classically packaged, these small Caramellotto nougat pralines are a delicious Italian sweet. For the Caramellotto, D.Barbero refines the traditional Giandujotto recipe into a delicious, new version with salted caramel, creating a surprising taste. Wonderfully creamy, nutty, sweet and salty at the same time!

We will fill a bag with 100g (12-13 pieces) of the individually wrapped Italian Caramellotto pralines from D.Barbero and tie a bow around it for you. This makes them a sweet-salty gift for lovers of Italian sweets and true nougat fans.

D.Barbero – Specialties from Piedmont

Founded in Asti in 1883, the Cioccolateria & Torroneria D. Barbero has always been known for its incomparable torrone and chocolate specialties from Piedmont. Time and again, in its history spanning seven generations, the specialties of this house have been honored with medals and other awards. The popular Gianduiotti are a typical Piedmontese specialty, which at Barbero stand out from the wide field of competitors due to their high hazelnut and cocoa content and the omission of artificial vanilla flavors. In addition to the classic hazelnut variant, there are also the green-wrapped Pistacchiotti with pistachios and the light blue-wrapped Torranjotti with white nougat pieces, the orange-red wrapped dark Giandujotto fondente, and the blue-packaged Caramellotto with salted caramel.

D.Barbero can draw on traditionally handed-down, old recipes that are still handcrafted as they were at the company's inception. For both white nougat (Torrone) and hazelnut nougat (Gianduiotti), D. Barbero places the highest value on the quality of the nuts. That is why the traditional company only uses hazelnuts of the Tonda Gentile delle Langhe variety, almonds from near Bari in Apulia, and the best pistachios from Bronte. The hand-selected high quality leads to a particularly intense aroma and the special taste of D.Barbero products.
