The Green Tea Ginger Lemon from Kusmi Tea is a sparkling green tea composition that combines two opposites into a harmonious unit: the warming spiciness of ginger and the clear acidity of lemon, carried by organic Chinese green tea. Light green infusion, citrus fresh with a gentle ginger spiciness

Even when you open the tin, it comes alive: the bright, sparkling lemon meets the warm, slightly sweet spiciness of ginger, both embedded in the grassy freshness of Chinese green tea. The leaves are dark green and uniformly rolled; the scent immediately makes you crave the first cup – fresh, clear, a little like a spice rack in the midday sun.

In the cup, the ginger-lemon tea displays a light green, slightly yellowish hue. The first sip is sparkling and invigorating; the lemon brings freshness, the ginger provides warmth and that fine spiciness that opens the palate rather than irritating it. A gentle warmth lingers in the finish, resonating in the chest area – with a subtle depth of spice that lingers.

The Green Tea Ginger Lemon is the spicier variant among Kusmi's green teas. In the morning with muesli or a slice of wholemeal bread with honey, in the afternoon with lemon cake or spiced biscuits, in the evening as a warming cup on the sofa.

The tea tastes best pure, without milk. With a teaspoon of honey, it becomes softer and sweeter in taste. It also surprises with its sparkling-fresh side as iced tea – a few ice cubes, a slice of lemon, a slice of ginger, and the summer refresher is ready. For a pot, you need about 2 tablespoons of loose tea per liter, steeped with 80 °C hot water, for 3 to 4 minutes.

Natural flavors from the Parisian manufactory

The history of Kusmi Tea begins in 1867 in St. Petersburg, where 21-year-old Pavel Mikhailovich Kousmichoff opens his own tea house.
