Organic Whole Milk Chocolate – Merry Christmas is a greeting chocolate for Advent from Berger Confiserie in Lofer in the Saalach Valley. Beneath the festive greeting lies a classic organic milk chocolate, mild, creamy and made with real vanilla, just big enough for a small gesture.

Tender chocolate with a touch of vanilla

The organic milk chocolate of this greeting bar melts slowly and evenly, mild in its milky flavor and with the quiet sweetness of real vanilla, which rounds out the cocoa.

Its cocoa content sits right between strong and creamy. This middle ground makes it the chocolate that almost everyone at the Christmas table enjoys, from grandchild to grandmother. Raw cane sugar gives it a warm, slightly caramel-like sweetness, and the cocoa butter gives it the soft melt that spreads across the tongue.

Next to vanilla crescents and gingerbread on the cookie plate, it is the calm voice, and children in particular like to reach for this clear, mild milk chocolate. With a cup of hot chocolate or a milky coffee, a piece becomes a small afternoon dessert.

Stirred for a long time in Lofer

Berger Confiserie sources the raw cocoa for the milk chocolate from the CONACADO cooperative, in which cocoa farmers of the Dominican Republic have joined together.

In the conche, the mass is stirred and warmed for sixty to seventy hours. By the end, all harsh tones have faded and the melt has become velvety. Many manufacturers give their chocolate only a few hours for this, and you can taste the difference especially clearly in a pure milk chocolate.

Every ingredient in this Merry Christmas chocolate comes from organic farming. All year round, Berger also makes a plain organic milk chocolate.

For the 2026 Christmas collection, Berger Confiserie has dressed this bar in deep midnight blue, with a golden star above the greeting Frohe Weihnacht, German for “Merry Christmas.”

In its collection, the company tells of two worlds of winter, the stillness of the snow-covered earth and the magical pull of the night sky. This bar belongs entirely to the sky, to clear frosty nights and to the northern lights that sweep across the firmament in emerald green and violet.
