Tea towel with bright pink raspberry
The Raspberry tea towel from 17;30 is a kitchen towel made of pure cotton with a pink raspberry motif, designed in Hamburg and hand-printed. A piece of berry season for the kitchen, all year round.
Tea towels with motifs from 17;30 stand for color and good cheer. On a light background, raspberries in vibrant pink shine across the kitchen towel, fresh as if just picked. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings back memories of picking berries and making jam.
Pink raspberries right in the middle of the kitchen
The raspberries shine in rich pink against a light background, a splash of color that gets you in the mood for summer. You’ll almost work up an appetite while drying the dishes.
The motif is applied by hand using silk-screen printing, in a pink that looks like a garden filled with sun-warmed berries. Fruity, colorful, and cheerful – that is how the Hamburg team interprets their designs. Because each towel is printed individually, no two are exactly the same; small quirks are part of the process and make your item uniquely yours.
Anyone who makes jam in the summer or snacks on berries straight from the bush will find the perfect towel here, and in winter, it brings a little bit of berry season back into the kitchen.
Drying up with a berry greeting
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, jam jars, and hands without leaving lint behind. A cheerful helper for every day in the kitchen.
It can be machine-washed at up to 60 degrees; ironed, it hangs smoothly over the rail and the pink stays vibrant. Pure cotton is the classic choice for tea towels; it absorbs plenty of water and becomes softer, not more worn, over the years. It is in high season during jam-making time, when the kitchen smells of sugar and berries.
Thrown over your shoulder or hanging on a hook next to the stove, it is always close at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
Behind 17;30 is a Hamburg-based team, founded by Anna Upleger in 2010 on the Elbe and now led by Quinn Upleger.
The brand name refers to the time when the workday ends on the Elbe: half past five. The initial maritime key fobs evolved starting in 2016 into cards, paper bags, and tea towels with character. A tea towel is not just a tea towel, as Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, finished with screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was magnificent, and at exactly half past five, the decision was made to make beautiful things – or so the story of the founding on the Elbe goes. An idea shared among friends turned into a brand that today brings cards, bags, and towels into many kitchens. That sense of ease from 5:30 p.m. off-the-clock time is still present in every print, from the cheeky sayings to the pink raspberries. What began as a small project has long since become a staple for everyone who likes their kitchen a little more expressive.
