Tea towel with a cheerful slogan in pink
The "Her mit dem schönen Leben" (Bring on the beautiful life) tea towel from 17;30 is a kitchen towel made of pure cotton, designed in Hamburg and hand-printed. A pink greeting of vitality for all those who don't put off the beautiful things in life.
At 17;30, a tea towel with a slogan means a kitchen towel with attitude. "Her mit dem schönen Leben" stands out in bold pink on a light background, an invitation you'll be happy to accept. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings a good mood to the sink.
Pink that makes you want to embrace life
The lettering shines in bold pink against a light background—cheeky and full of joy. You read it and are immediately in a better mood.
The slogan is applied by hand using screen printing, word for word, in a pink that doesn't do things by halves. Cheeky, colorful, and cheerful—that’s how the Hamburg team describes their prints. Because each piece goes through the printing process individually, every towel has its own unique character and charm.
The slogan is a small permission slip to treat yourself to the beautiful things in life, making it a perfect, visible daily reminder in the kitchen.
Drying up and celebrating life
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, plates, and hands without leaving lint behind. A cheerful helper for every day in the kitchen.
It can be machine-washed at up to 60 degrees; ironed, it hangs smooth over the rail, and the pink remains vibrant. Pure cotton is a classic choice for tea towels; it absorbs plenty of water and becomes softer, rather than worn, over the years. Clearly visible on the rail, the slogan welcomes you fresh every morning.
Thrown over your shoulder or hanging on a hook next to the stove, it's always quickly at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
Draped over the back of a chair, over the bread basket, or clearly visible on the rail, the slogan remains in sight every day. It serves as a casual reminder not to constantly postpone the beautiful things, but to treat yourself to them more often.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
17;30 is run by a team from Hamburg, founded in 2010 on the Elbe by Anna Upleger and managed today by Quinn Upleger.
The brand name refers to the time the workday ends by the Elbe: half-past five. Starting in 2016, the first maritime lanyards evolved into cards, paper bags, and tea towels with attitude. As Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize, a tea towel is not just a tea towel. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, and refined with screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was magnificent, and at exactly half-past five, the decision was made to create beautiful things—or so the story of the company's founding on the Elbe goes. That sense of lightness is still in every print today, and hardly any slogan captures it as well as this one.
A gift full of joy
Each towel comes individually wrapped with a paper band, ready to give as a gift without the need for extra packaging.
An affordable little gift for bon vivants and anyone who loves to celebrate the day. Feel free to browse through the entire series of towels from 17;30 or pair it with the "Der Abwasch kann warten" (The washing up can wait) towel as a clever counterpart.
