Tea towel with rushing Christmas tree in gold
The Christmas tree tea towel in gold from 17;30 is a kitchen towel made of pure cotton with a tongue-in-cheek Christmas motif, designed in Hamburg and screen-printed by hand. A zippy Christmas tree for the holiday kitchen.
Tea towels with a motif often imply a wink at 17;30, in this case for the Christmas season. A rushing Christmas tree in shimmering gold dashes across the light-colored fabric as if it were in a hurry to be ready in time for the festivities. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings holiday cheer into the kitchen.
A Christmas tree with momentum
The Christmas tree shines in gold on a light background and looks as if it is in a hurry. A mischievous motif that takes the hustle and bustle of the holidays with a sense of humor.
The motif is applied by hand using screen printing; the gold shimmers festively rather than brightly. Festive, golden, and playful—that’s just how the Hamburg team likes it. Because each towel goes through the printing process individually, no two are exactly alike; small quirks are part of it and make your copy uniquely yours.
During the Advent season, the rushing Christmas tree brings a smile to the kitchen, especially when things get particularly hectic between baking cookies and roasting the goose.
Drying up in the Christmas kitchen
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, plates, and hands without leaving lint behind. A reliable kitchen towel, especially during the baking season.
It can be machine washed at up to 60 degrees; when ironed, it lies flat over the rail, and the gold remains festive. Pure cotton is the classic choice for tea towels; it absorbs plenty of water and becomes softer rather than worn out over the years. Hung on the rail during Advent, your kitchen is decorated in an instant.
Thrown over your shoulder or hanging on a hook next to the stove, it is always quickly at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
Draped over the back of a chair, over a plate of cookies, or hung on a rail, the rushing Christmas tree brings a bit of Advent bustle with humor everywhere it goes. Especially during the hectic pre-Christmas season, it provides a conciliatory smile.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
17;30 is run by a team from Hamburg, founded by Anna Upleger on the Elbe in 2010 and now managed by Quinn Upleger.
The brand name refers to the time when the workday ends on the Elbe: half-past five. Starting in 2016, the initial maritime key fobs turned into cards, paper bags, and tea towels with character. As Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize, a tea towel is not just a tea towel. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, and finished with screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was excellent, and at exactly half-past five, the decision was made to make beautiful things—or so the story of the founding on the Elbe goes. This lightheartedness remains in every print to this day, even in the rushing Christmas tree for the holiday season.
