Tea Towel with Lucky Pig in Pink
The Pig in Pink tea towel from 17;30 is a kitchen towel made of pure cotton with a charming pig motif, designed in Hamburg and screen-printed by hand. A little lucky pig for your kitchen.
Tea towels with a motif, according to 17;30, mean color and a wink. Set against a light background is a pig in a friendly shade of pink, drawn with a round and cheerful character. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings a little bit of luck into the kitchen.
A pink pig for more luck
The pig shines in a cheerful pink against a light background, round and in high spirits. As a lucky charm, it certainly lives up to its reputation.
The motif is screen-printed by hand in a pink that puts you in a good mood. Round, colorful, and fun – that is how the Hamburg team approaches their designs. Because each towel is printed individually, no two are exactly the same; small quirks are part of the process and make your copy uniquely yours.
At the turn of the year, the pig is a classic lucky charm, and all year round it is a cheerful splash of color for anyone who can’t get enough luck.
Drying with a sense of luck
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, plates, and hands without leaving any lint behind. A cheerful helper for every day in the kitchen.
It can be machine washed at up to 60 degrees; ironed, it hangs smooth over the rail, and the pink remains vibrant. Pure cotton is the classic choice for tea towels; it absorbs a lot of water and becomes softer, not tired, over the years. The pink pig is the cheerful contrast that a simple kitchen can handle well.
Thrown over your shoulder or hanging on a hook by the stove, it is always close at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
Draped over a chair back, over a bread basket, or hanging on a rail, the pink pig brings a smile wherever it goes. As a little lucky charm, it looks especially good where you see it every morning.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
Behind 17;30 is a team from Hamburg, founded by Anna Upleger in 2010 on the Elbe and now led by Quinn Upleger.
The brand name refers to the time when the workday ends on the Elbe: 5:30. From the first maritime lanyards, the range grew in 2016 to include cards, paper bags, and tea towels with personality. As Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize, a tea towel is not just a tea towel. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, finished with screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was magnificent, and at exactly 5:30 the decision was made to make beautiful things – that is the story often told about the founding on the Elbe. This lightheartedness is still present in every print today, from cheeky slogans to the pink lucky pig.
