Tea towel with orange motif in neon orange
The Orange tea towel from 17;30 is a kitchen towel made of pure cotton with a cheerful fruit motif in neon orange, designed in Hamburg and hand-printed. A sunny splash of color for the kitchen.
Tea towel with a motif means color and good vibes at 17;30. On a light background, an orange glows in vibrant neon orange across the kitchen towel, juicy as if freshly sliced. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings a piece of sunshine into the kitchen.
Neon orange like a juicy fruit
The orange glows in a rich neon orange against a light background—an eye-catcher that immediately brightens up the kitchen. It almost makes you crave a freshly squeezed one.
The motif is hand-applied using screen printing in an orange that looks like sunshine and the south. Juicy, colorful, and cheerful—that’s how the Hamburg team approaches its designs. Because every towel goes through the printing process individually, no two are exactly the same; small quirks are part of it and make your item uniquely yours.
For anyone who likes citrus fruits and bold tones, the orange is a splash of color that brings good cheer all year round.
Drying off with a sunny greeting
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, plates, and hands without leaving lint. A cheerful helper for every day in the kitchen.
It can go in the machine at up to 60 degrees, it lies smooth over the rail when ironed, and the orange remains vibrant. Pure cotton is the classic choice for tea towels; it absorbs a lot of water and becomes softer rather than worn out over the years. Between simple cupboard fronts, the orange shines down from the rail as a sunny contrast.
Draped over your shoulder or on a hook next to the stove, it is quickly at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
Laid over the fruit basket, slid under the juicer, or over your shoulder while cooking, the orange towel brings a splash of sunshine everywhere. In a muted kitchen, it becomes the warmest point in the room in no time at all.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
Behind 17;30 is a team from Hamburg, which Anna Upleger founded on the Elbe in 2010 and which Quinn Upleger leads today.
The brand name refers to the time of day when the workday ends on the Elbe: half past five. From the first maritime keychains, the range expanded from 2016 to include cards, paper bags, and tea towels with character. A tea towel is not just a tea towel, as Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, finished with screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was magnificent, and at exactly half past five, the decision was made to make beautiful things—that’s the story of the company’s founding on the Elbe. That lightness is still in every print today, from cheeky sayings to the juicy orange.
