Tea Towel with Gold Christmas Tree
The Gold Christmas Tree tea towel from 17;30 is a kitchen towel made of pure cotton featuring a classic Christmas motif, designed in Hamburg and hand-printed. A festive tree for the Christmas kitchen.
Tea towels with motifs are often a festive classic at 17;30 during the Christmas season. A decorated Christmas tree in shimmering gold stands on a light background, drawn in a calm and solemn style. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings a festive mood into the kitchen.
A golden tree for the holidays
The Christmas tree shines in gold on a light background, decorated and solemn. A motif that brings the anticipation of the holidays into the kitchen.
The motif is screen-printed by hand, with the gold shimmering festively rather than brightly. Festive, golden, and calmly drawn—that’s how the Hamburg team likes it during the Christmas season. Because each towel passes through the printing process individually, no two are exactly alike; small individual characteristics are part of the process and make your piece uniquely yours.
If you prefer your Christmas decor classic rather than playful, you will find the Christmas tree to be the quiet counterpart to the "Racing Christmas Tree" from the same series.
Drying in the Christmas kitchen
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, plates, and hands without leaving lint behind. A reliable kitchen towel, especially during the baking season.
It can be machine washed at up to 60 degrees; when ironed, it lies smooth over the rail, and the gold remains festive. Pure cotton is the classic choice for tea towels; it absorbs plenty of water and becomes softer, rather than more worn, over the years. During the Advent season, the golden tree hangs on the rail and decorates the kitchen in the process.
Thrown over the shoulder or on the hook next to the stove, it is always quickly at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
Draped over a chair back, placed over a cookie plate, or hung on a rail, the golden Christmas tree brings festive tranquility to any kitchen. Between the baking sheet and the mulled wine pot, it is a quiet, beautiful companion throughout the Advent season.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
17;30 is run by a team from Hamburg, founded by Anna Upleger in 2010 by the Elbe and managed by Quinn Upleger today.
The brand name refers to the time when the workday ends by the Elbe: half past five. Starting in 2016, the initial nautical keychains evolved into cards, paper bags, and tea towels with character. As Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize, a tea towel is not just a tea towel. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, and finished with screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was fantastic, and at exactly half past five, the decision was made to make beautiful things—that’s the story of the founding by the Elbe. That lightness is still present in every print today, including the festive Gold Christmas Tree.
