Tea towel with sheep motif in soft grey
The sheep tea towel in grey by 17;30 is a kitchen towel made from pure cotton with a charming lamb motif, designed in Hamburg and hand-printed. A gentle companion for any kitchen.
Tea towels with motifs also mean quiet tones at 17;30. On a light background stands a sheep in soft grey, drawn with a gentle line and a wink. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings a bit of calm into the kitchen.
A grey sheep to love
The sheep stands calmly and kindly in grey on a light background, as cozy as a Sunday morning. It suits anyone who appreciates the simple things.
The motif is screen-printed by hand, in a shade of grey that fits into any kitchen. Quiet, understated, and kindly drawn—the Hamburg team likes it that way, even beyond loud colors. Because each towel passes through the printing process individually, no two are exactly alike; little quirks are part of the charm and make your item uniquely yours.
For animal lovers, the sheep is a warm greeting; for everyone else, it is a restrained motif that goes with everything.
Drying with a woolly feel
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, plates, and hands without leaving lint behind. A reliable kitchen towel for every day.
It can be machine-washed at up to 60 degrees; ironed, it lies smooth over the bar, and the grey remains clear. Pure cotton is the classic among tea towels; it absorbs a lot of water and becomes softer rather than worn out over the years. Combined with muted tones, the kitchen looks calm and homely, and the grey sheep fits right in.
Thrown over the shoulder or on the hook next to the stove, it is quickly at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
Draped over the back of a chair, over the bread basket, or hung on the bar, the grey sheep blends in everywhere. It provides a calm, homely touch and goes well with tableware and textiles in almost any color.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
Behind 17;30 is a team from Hamburg, which Anna Upleger founded on the Elbe in 2010 and which Quinn Upleger manages today.
The brand name refers to the time when the workday ends on the Elbe: 5:30 PM. From the first maritime lanyards, the brand evolved in 2016 into cards, paper bags, and tea towels with character. A tea towel is not just a tea towel, as Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, finished with screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was magnificent, and at half-past five sharp, the decision was made to make beautiful things—that is how the founding story is fondly told on the Elbe. This lightness is still present in every print today, from cheeky messages to the gentle grey sheep.
