Tea towel with stag motif in anthracite
The Stag tea towel from 17;30 is a kitchen towel made of pure cotton with a calm stag motif in anthracite, designed in Hamburg and hand-printed. A wild, elegant piece for the winter kitchen.
Tea towel with a motif, at 17;30 this also means muted rather than bright. On a light background stands a stag in calm anthracite, clearly drawn and with dignity. 50 x 70 cm of pure cotton that dries reliably and brings a piece of the forest into the kitchen.
A stag in calm anthracite
The stag stands calm and elegant in anthracite on a light background, a motif with poise. It suits everyone who likes things natural and muted.
The motif is screen-printed by hand in an anthracite that appears refined rather than gloomy. Calm, matter-of-fact and straightforward in design, that is how the people of Hamburg like their motifs, even beyond loud colors. Because every towel goes through the printing process individually, no two are exactly alike; small quirks are part of it and make your copy uniquely yours.
During the cool season, the anthracite goes well with pine branches and candlelight, in a cabin as well as in a modern city kitchen.
Drying up with a forest feeling
The cotton towel absorbs water from glasses, plates, and hands without leaving lint. A reliable kitchen towel for every day.
It can be machine washed at up to 60 degrees; ironed, it lies smooth over the rail and the anthracite remains rich. Pure cotton is the classic among tea towels; it absorbs a lot of water and becomes softer rather than tired over the years. Along with muted tones, the kitchen immediately feels cozier in winter; the anthracite sets the tone.
Thrown over the shoulder or on the hook next to the stove, it is quickly at hand. You can find more tea towels in our kitchen corner.
A Hamburg idea from 2010
Behind 17;30 is a team from Hamburg, founded by Anna Upleger on the Elbe in 2010 and managed today by Quinn Upleger.
The brand name refers to the time when the workday ends on the Elbe: half-past five. The first maritime key fobs evolved starting in 2016 into cards, paper bags, and tea towels with character. A tea towel is not just a tea towel, as Quinn Upleger likes to emphasize. 100 percent cotton, woven in India, finished by screen printing in Hamburg.
The wine was delicious, the mood was magnificent, and at exactly half-past five, the decision was made to make beautiful things; that is how the founding story is often told on the Elbe. An idea among friends became a brand that today brings cards, bags, and towels into many kitchens. This lightness of the 5:30 p.m. finish remains in every print to this day, from the cheeky sayings to the calm stag in anthracite. What began as a small project has long since become a staple for everyone who likes their kitchen a little more eloquent.
