Numerous myths and legends surround the special arrangement of its blossoms, which resemble a bunch of keys, claiming that the magical flower can open doors and gates to mysterious treasures. Tiroler Reine – Bar of Soap
Exquisite ingredients, at least 3 rolling processes, and extraordinary alpine scents characterize the Tiroler Reine soaps from the Walde company. Tiroler Reine chose shea butter as the base substance for the soap, as there is no local plant-based soap base that comes close to this quality. The shea butter from the nuts of the shea tree comes from Burkina Faso in West Africa. The nuts are collected as part of a women's project founded in 2009 called ABPJF (Association Burkinabé pour la Promotion de la Jeune Fille).
The special thing about the vegetable fat of shea butter is its excellent re-fattening properties when using the soap. Every bar of Tiroler Reine soap is 100 percent biodegradable and completely disappears in the bathroom: Thanks to its low water and air content, the soap does not crumble into small pieces after being used for a while, but remains a smooth, wonderfully fragrant piece of soap with a fine, creamy lather until the very end.

Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap-making family to create distinctive soaps. Each soap tells its own story, from the Sellrain washerwomen and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valerian, to cowslips as harbingers of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and elderberry, which provides protection and security.
