Tiroler Reine – Cowslip – Liquid Soap 300ml
The Tiroler Reine liquid soap Cowslip smells like the luminous yellow flowers of the primrose that break through the ice in spring. This liquid soap, which can be used for both hand washing and showering, represents awakening.
Cowslip – the scent of the Alps
What would spring be without COWSLIP! When the delicately fragrant, bright yellow blossoms come to light, they herald new life after a long cold season. Thus, Primula veris, "the little firstcomer," is a symbol of hope, youth, innocence, the opening of heaven, and above all, spring, the season of great awakening. Numerous myths and legends surround the special arrangement of the flowers, which resembles a bunch of keys, claiming that the magical flower can open doors to mysterious treasures. When the morning awakening is accompanied by the unmistakably sweet-delicate, heavenly scent of this soap, spring momentarily enters our bathroom.
Tiroler Reine – Liquid Soap from Austria
Tiroler Reine liquid soaps are real soaps: unlike conventional liquid soaps, they are produced using traditional manufacturing methods in kettles on a soap base – without synthetic surfactants, but with natural glycerin content. The selected basic raw materials are high-quality, nourishing olive and coconut oils, beeswax, which contributes to the pleasant consistency, and Tyrolean beef tallow, which was used to produce soaps in earlier times. This traditional and local ingredient has a refatting effect and provides a fine, creamy lather.
Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap maker family to create distinctive soaps. Each soap tells its own story, from the Sellrain washerwomen and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valerian, to cowslip as a harbinger of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and elderflower, which conveys protection and security.
NOTE – Since spring 2020, Walde has been using bottles with a proportion of recycled plastic. Walde aims to improve sustainability in this area. However, these bottles are slightly thinner, which leads to indentations during filling. If you briefly open the flip-top closure, the dent will even out again.
No preservatives or emulsifiers are added to Tiroler Reine liquid soaps. This can occasionally lead to changes in viscosity or color separation. Our tip provides a quick remedy: place the liquid soaps in a warm place, e.g., on a windowsill in the sun, for a few hours, then shake them well – and the original state will be restored.
