Tiroler Reine – Elderberry Soap – 100g
The Tiroler Reine Elderberry Soap has a wonderfully fruity scent, reminiscent of the night-black berries of the elderberry bush, and represents a sense of security. The beautiful, ergonomic soap bar, with its natural fragrance and creamy lather, is a little moment of everyday luxury. The attractive packaging, which fully showcases the minimalist design and vibrant colors, makes the Tiroler Reine soap a thoughtful gift.
Elderberry – the scent of the Alps
Since the Middle Ages, an ELDERBERRY TREE was an essential protector around the home and farm. The "holuntar" was considered the "Tree of Holle," the archetype of the wise Earth Mother, who, as a good spirit, was meant to guard the inhabitants against illness and misfortune. Therefore, it was unthinkable to cut down the tree or burn its wood; farmers would reverently tip their hats to it, and on the magical Midsummer Night, young girls would shake its branches, hoping to see the man of their lives in the dream that followed. The highly fragrant, creamy-white elderflowers appear in flat clusters in June, giving the popular elderflower syrup its unmistakable taste. The black-violet berries of autumn, which are processed into jam and juice, prepare us for the cold season. Tiroler Reine Elderberry Soap conveys deep strength in its color and a strong spirit in its scent.
Tiroler Reine – Soap Bar
Exquisite ingredients, at least 3 milling processes, and extraordinary alpine scents characterize the Tiroler Reine soaps from the Walde company. As the base substance for the soap, Tiroler Reine has chosen shea butter, as there is no local plant-based soap base that comes close to this quality. The shea butter from the nuts of the shea tree comes from Burkina Faso in West Africa. The nuts are collected as part of a women's project founded in 2009 called ABPJF (Association Burkinabé pour la Promotion de la Jeune Fille).
The special feature of the vegetable fat in shea butter is its high degree of replenishment when using the soap. Every Tiroler Reine soap bar also disappears completely in the bathroom: thanks to the low water and air content, the soap does not break into small pieces when it has already been used for some time, but remains a smooth, wonderfully fragrant piece of soap with a fine, creamy lather until the very end.
The scents of the noble Tiroler Reine range are masterfully composed fragrances modeled after nature.
Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde family of soap boilers to create unmistakable soaps. Each soap tells its own story, from the washerwomen of Sellrain and glacier milk, to alpine roses and love, forget-me-nots, the resilience of the birch, alpine valerian, cowslips as harbingers of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and finally the elderberry, which conveys protection and security.
