Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap-making family to create unmistakable soaps.

Each soap tells its own story, from the laundresses of Sellrain and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valerian, the cowslip as a harbinger of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and elderberry, which conveys protection and security.

Tiroler Reine – the good soap

Exquisite ingredients, at least 3 milling processes, and extraordinary alpine scents distinguish the Tiroler Reine soaps by the Walde company. For the base substance of the soap, Tiroler Reine has chosen shea butter, as there is no local vegetable soap base that comes close to this quality. The shea butter from the nuts of the shea tree comes from Burkina Faso, West Africa. The nuts are collected as part of a women's project founded in 2009 called ABPJF (Association Burkinabé pour la Promotion de la Jeune Fille).

The special feature of the vegetable fat in shea butter is the high degree of lipid replenishment after using the soap. The scents of the Tiroler Reine soaps are masterfully composed fragrances modeled on nature. Every piece of Tiroler Reine also disappears completely in the bathroom: thanks to its low water and air content, the soap does not break into small pieces after being used for a while, but remains a smooth piece of soap until the very end.
