Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap-making family to create distinctive soaps.

Each soap tells its own story, from the Sellrain washerwomen and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine spikenard, to primroses as heralds of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and elderflower, which conveys protection and security.

Tiroler Reine – the good soap

Exquisite ingredients, at least 3 milling processes, and exceptional alpine scents characterize Tiroler Reine, soaps from the Walde company. As the basic substance for the soap, Tiroler Reine has chosen shea butter, as there is no native plant-based soap base that comes close to this quality. The shea butter from the nuts of the shea tree comes from Burkina Faso, West Africa. The nuts are collected as part of a women's project called ABPJF (Association Burkinabé pour la Promotion de la Jeune Fille), founded in 2009.

The special feature of the vegetable fat in shea butter is its good moisturizing effect after using the soap. The scents of Tiroler Reine are masterfully composed fragrances that are inspired by nature. Every piece of Tiroler Reine is 100 percent biodegradable and completely disappears even in the bathroom: Thanks to its low water and air content, the soap does not break into small pieces after being used for a while, but remains a smooth piece of soap until the very end.
