Eco wool – naturally!

Klippan is now proud to produce cushion covers made from organically produced wool. The ecological lamb's wool is completely free of pesticides, and no chemicals or antibiotics were used in the rearing of the sheep or their species-appropriate keeping.

Eco wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The ecological lamb's wool comes from lambs up to six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco wool is combed and fluffed before being beautifully dyed, spun into yarn, and then woven into this dreamlike cushion cover. It is hardly scratchy, breathable, and has excellent insulating properties. It warms in winter and cools in summer. Klippan does everything to ensure that the cushion cover feels soft; for this, the Oeko-Tex certified lamb's wool is extra pre-combed, yet this quality is naturally a little scratchier than a cotton cushion cover would be.

The Chevron cushion cover can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool wash program of your washing machine. Reduce the spin speed as much as possible so that the cover does not felt. To ensure that you enjoy your cushion cover for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softeners. Remember that natural wool fat has a self-cleaning effect, and you will wash it out little by little with each wash. It is best to hang the cushion cover outside on the line to air out. Airing out also works perfectly against any sheep smell that may occur at the beginning.
