The Prisecco Cuvée No. 10 is a Prisecco from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger characterized by wild elderflower and juicy cider pears. Alcohol-free and sparkling, pleasantly dry yet wonderfully fruity, served chilled it makes a good alternative to sparkling wine as an aperitif or wine as a food accompaniment.

Cuvée No. 10 – Cider Pear and Wild Elderflower

The base for this cuvée consists of tart pears from traditional orchards and wild elderflower juice. According to old recipes, freshly cut leaves from our oak forests were added to the cider pears during pressing. It was rounded off with bergamot from Keltenhof and selected spices. This alcohol-free cocktail captivates with its elegant fruity tartness and a long, intense finish of elderberry. It is particularly suitable as a food accompaniment, for example, with roasted and braised beef and lamb with strong spices. Please note that PriSecco Cuvée No. 10 will only be available for a limited time due to seasonal ingredients.

The Prisecco Cuvée No. 10 is deep dark red in color, with intense black elderberries, wild-picked, paired with the delicate fragrance of green pears, underscored by earthy, nutty notes. A sparkling fresh start immediately transitions into the full notes of elderberries with slight hints of blackberries and blueberries, mild acidity harmonizes with a subtly peppery sharpness, creating an exciting centerpiece of fruit and spice with little sweetness, tart malty notes transition into the medium-long finish. PriSecco No. 10 is a berry-fruity aperitif and a great companion to roasted and braised beef and lamb with strong spices.

Alcohol-free Prisecco – from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger

PriSecco is the best-selling specialty of Manufaktur Jörg Geiger. Sophisticated and balanced, all Prisecco varieties surprise with enormous complexity. The absence of alcohol is not perceived as a defect, quite the opposite. PriSecco fills a gap for new, modernly conceived alcohol-free drinks based on old fruit varieties. The old apple and cider pear varieties come from the characteristic traditional orchards along the bird sanctuary at the foot of the Swabian Alb – hand-picked, ripened, and gently processed in Jörg Geiger's manufactory, who has received several awards (including from Slow Food) for his juices. These juices, with their pronounced aroma, unique acidity of old apple varieties, and emphasized tannin note of the pear, form a very special, natural basis for Geiger's Prisecco varieties.

We have known Jörg Geiger, the owner of Manufaktur Geiger, personally for many years. The Prisecco manufactory is located in Schlat near Göppingen, where I myself lived for several years. Jörg Geiger started producing alcohol-free fruit-based cocktails more as a hobby. In the meantime, he has acquired a great deal of knowledge about the preparation of this alcohol-free specialty, about old fruit varieties, and the use of herbs. In addition to top gastronomy, where his Prisecco is gladly served as an alcohol-free aperitif and food accompaniment, more and more people are enjoying their favorite Prisecco at home.
