The Prisecco Cuvée No. 29 from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger is a balanced combination of apple, pear, and rosehip puree. Non-alcoholic and sparkling, organic and vegan, pleasantly dry yet incredibly fruity, it makes a perfect aperitif for everyone at the table when served well-chilled, and is also an excellent food companion.

Prisecco Cuvée No. 29 – Apple, Pear, and Rosehip

The base for this Cuvée No. 29 by Jörg Geiger is made from the juice of apples, pears from meadow orchards, and rosehip puree, along with various herbs.

Many of these orchards are located on steep slopes. Wild roses and their thorns are avoided by sheep, allowing the rosehips to remain on the bushes until winter. The production of rosehip puree is a traditional specialty of our region—here presented in liquid form.

This non-alcoholic cocktail impresses with a delicate rose-apple fragrance, reminiscent of fully ripe peaches, honey, and exotic fruits like mango and papaya, refined with vanilla. On the palate, it offers fully ripe fruit, full-bodied and soft, with a subtle rose aroma and peach flavor.

Prisecco Cuvée No. 29 is a fantastic autumnal aperitif and an ideal companion to venison or game birds, as well as autumn desserts featuring seasonal fruits, vanilla cream, or crème brûlée.

Non-Alcoholic Specialties – from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger

The PriSecco is the best-selling specialty from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger. Sophisticated and balanced, all Prisecco varieties surprise with their enormous complexity. The absence of alcohol is not perceived as a deficiency; quite the contrary. PriSecco fills a gap for modern, newly conceived non-alcoholic beverages based on old fruit varieties. The old apple and perry pear varieties come from the landscape-defining meadow orchards along the bird sanctuary at the foot of the Swabian Alb—hand-picked, ripened, and carefully processed in Jörg Geiger’s manufactory, which has already received several awards (including from Slow Food) for its juices. Due to their distinct aromatics, the acidity of the old apple varieties, and the emphasized tannin notes of the pears, these juices form a very special, natural base for the Geiger Prisecco varieties.

We have known the owner of the Geiger manufactory, Jörg Geiger, personally for many years. The Prisecco manufactory is located in Schlat near Göppingen, where I lived for several years myself. Jörg Geiger started making non-alcoholic, fruit-based cocktails more as a hobby. He has since acquired a vast amount of knowledge regarding the preparation of this non-alcoholic specialty, as well as old fruit varieties and the use of herbs. In addition to high-end gastronomy, where his Prisecco is popular as a non-alcoholic aperitif and food companion, more and more people are enjoying their favorite Prisecco at home.
