The Prisecco Cuvée No. 7 from the Jörg Geiger Manufactory is an alcohol-free Prisecco with the fresh aroma of delicately spiced pears and aromatic-sweet plums. Alcohol-free and sparkling, pleasantly dry, yet wonderfully fruity, served chilled it is a good alternative to sparkling wine as an aperitif or wine as a food accompaniment.

Cuvée No. 7 – Plums, Yellow Pear, Lemon Verbena

The basis for this Cuvée No. 7 by Jörg Geiger is the juice of cider pears and aromatic plums. Mid-September is the ripening season for the fragrant Gelbmöstler pear. Harvested prematurely at the same time, the aromatic Hauszwetschge (plum) has even less sweetness and more acidity. The freshness is further enhanced by the herbs. This alcohol-free cocktail captivates with the sensual scent of ripe fruits, spicy bronze fennel, and refreshing lemon verbena. The acidity of the apples creates a tension between sweetness and acidity on the palate.

Prisecco Cuvée No. 7 is an excellent accompaniment to dishes with game and wild fowl, as well as pâtés and game terrines with fruit components (cranberries, plums), and light fruit desserts.

Alcohol-Free Prisecco – from the Jörg Geiger Manufactory

The PriSecco is the best-selling specialty of the Jörg Geiger Manufactory. Sophisticated and balanced, all Prisecco varieties surprise with enormous complexity. The lack of alcohol is not perceived as a defect, quite the opposite. PriSecco fills a gap for new, modernly conceived alcohol-free beverages based on old fruit varieties. The old apple and cider pear varieties come from the landscape-defining traditional orchards at the foot of the Swabian Alb nature reserve – hand-picked, ripened, and gently processed in Jörg Geiger's manufactory, who has received several awards (including from Slow Food) for his juices. Due to their distinct aromas, with the unique acidity of old apple varieties and the pronounced tannin note of the pear, these juices form a very special, natural basis for the Geiger Prisecco varieties.

We have known Jörg Geiger, the owner of the Geiger Manufactory, personally for many years. The Prisecco Manufactory is located in Schlat near Göppingen, where I myself lived for several years. Jörg Geiger started producing fruit-based alcohol-free cocktails more as a hobby. In the meantime, he has acquired a great deal of knowledge about the preparation of this alcohol-free specialty, about old fruit varieties, and the use of herbs. In addition to top gastronomy, where his Prisecco is gladly served as an alcohol-free aperitif and as a food accompaniment, more and more people are also enjoying their favorite Prisecco at home.
