Manufaktur Jörg Geiger – Prisecco Cuvée No. 11 alcohol-free

The Prisecco Cuvée No. 11 is a very popular Prisecco from the Manufaktur Jörg Geiger. Alcohol-free and sparkling, pleasantly dry yet incredibly fruity, it is, when well-chilled, an aperitif for everyone at the table and an excellent accompaniment to food.

Prisecco Cuvée No. 11 – unripe Boskoop apple and oak leaves

The base for the Prisecco Cuvée No. 11 is formed by unripe harvested Boskoop apples and "Nägeles" pears combined with the scent of jasmine and hibiscus blossoms. The oak leaves added during pressing create exciting spicy and herbal notes. This alcohol-free cocktail impresses with its lean, light, and lively character with less sweetness and instead plenty of lemony freshness and the scent of fresh jasmine blossoms. Suitable as an accompaniment to white-fleshed poached seafood as well as veal fillet with thyme jus and white asparagus.

Please note that the PriSecco Cuvée No. 11 will only be available for a limited time, as, like all Prisecco Cuvées, it is bottled depending on the season of its ingredients.

Alcohol-free – from the Manufaktur Jörg Geiger

PriSecco is the best-selling specialty of the Manufaktur Jörg Geiger. Sophisticated and balanced, all Prisecco varieties surprise with enormous complexity. The lack of alcohol is not perceived as a deficiency; quite the contrary. PriSecco fills a gap for new, modernly conceived alcohol-free drinks based on heritage fruit varieties. The heritage apple and cider pear varieties come from the landscape-defining meadow orchards along the bird sanctuary at the foot of the Swabian Alb – hand-picked, ripened, and gently processed at the manufactory of Jörg Geiger, who has already received several awards (including from Slow Food) for his juices. Through their distinct aromatics, with the acidity of heritage apple varieties and the emphasized tannin notes of the pear, these juices form a very special, natural foundation for the Geiger Prisecco varieties.

We have known the owner of Manufaktur Geiger, Jörg Geiger, personally for many years. The Prisecco manufactory is located in Schlat near Göppingen, where I lived for several years myself. Jörg Geiger began producing fruit-based alcohol-free cocktails more as a hobby. He has since gained extensive knowledge about the preparation of this alcohol-free specialty, about heritage fruit varieties, and the use of herbs. In addition to high-end gastronomy, where his Prisecco is often served as an alcohol-free aperitif and food accompaniment, more and more people are enjoying their favorite Prisecco at home.
