The Prisecco Cuvée No. 9 from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger is a non-alcoholic Prisecco from the Jörg Geiger manufactory with an excitingly lush scent of pear and grape juice and fresh hints of white blossoms. Non-alcoholic and sparkling, pleasantly dry yet fabulously fruity, it is a perfect aperitif for everyone at the table when served well-chilled and makes an excellent food companion. Organic + vegan

Cuvée No. 9 – Kerner, Müller-Thurgau, and Portugieser

The base for this Cuvée No. 9 by Jörg Geiger is provided by old apple and pear varieties from meadow orchards and grapes of the Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, and Portugieser varieties. This PriSecco has been refined with various spices and blossoms, such as Schisandra berries and jasmine flowers. It impresses with its excitingly lush grape fruitiness on the nose, with hints of fresh white blossoms and nutty components of hazelnuts and autumn leaves. On the palate, there is a balanced play between pear-like sweetness and mild sparkling acidity. The long, multifaceted finish is underscored by subtly tart notes.

Prisecco Cuvée No. 9 is highly recommended with Asian cuisine, sushi, sashimi, etc., appetizers with leaf salads and cream cheese, as well as rhubarb and berry-fruit desserts or pastries.

Prisecco non-alcoholic – from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger

The PriSecco is the best-selling specialty from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger. Sophisticated and balanced, all Prisecco varieties surprise with their enormous complexity. The lack of alcohol is not perceived as a deficiency; quite the contrary. PriSecco fills a gap for new, modernly designed non-alcoholic beverages based on old fruit varieties. The old apple and cider pear varieties come from the landscape-defining meadow orchards along the bird sanctuary at the foot of the Swabian Jura – hand-picked, ripened, and gently processed at the Jörg Geiger manufactory, which has already received several awards (including from Slow Food) for its juices. Due to their distinct aromas, the acidity of old apple varieties, and the emphasized tannin note of the pear, these juices form a very special, natural foundation for the Geiger Prisecco varieties.

We have known the owner of the Geiger manufactory, Jörg Geiger, personally for many years. The Prisecco manufactory is located in Schlat near Göppingen, where I lived for several years myself. Jörg Geiger began producing non-alcoholic fruit-based cocktails more as a hobby. He has since acquired a great deal of knowledge about the preparation of this non-alcoholic specialty, old fruit varieties, and the use of herbs.
